The Kama Sutra ( Kamasutra or simply Kamasutra), is an ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior written in Sanskrit literature by Mallanga Vtsyyana .
Vtsyyana is the name of a Hindu philosoper in the Vedic tradition who is considered to have lived during time of the Gupta Empire (4th to 6th centuries) in India. His name appears as the author of the Kama Sutra.
Hardly anything is known about him. His real name is supposed to be Mallinaga or Mrillana, Vatsyayana being his family name. At the close of the work this is what he writes about himself
" Kma " means sensual or sexual pleasure, and " stra " literally means a thread or line that holds things together. It more metaphorically refers to an aphorism (or line, rule, formula), or a collection of such aphorisms in the form of a manual. The modern English word "suture" is derived from the same root.
A portion of the work , written largely in prose, consists of practical advice regarding sexual intercourse . This ancient sex manual depicts differing sexual positions which, if mechanically and faithfully followed, is guaranteed to provide bliss and fulfillment for the engaging couple. Nirvana for one and all!
These days, modern pharmacology has replaced the time consuming ritual of trial-and-error associated with the Karma Sutra. Male enhancement drugs promise men suffering from the embarrassing condition known as Erectile Dysfunction (ED) a quick and easy fix. Simply swallow this pill and be ready when the time is right!
Should men afflicted with ED willingly submit to taking a daily dose of these much touted drugs advertised on the market so that when the moment is right they will be ready for it?
A recent survey indicated that 58 per cent of the respondents (male) voted for seeking medical advice first before diving headlong into taking hormones or drugs. This approach would help them determine any medical/physical causes .
Forty three percent of the people polled readily admitted that men should accept the fact that they are growing older and that they are still worthwhile human beings despite the negative advertising labeling them as being inadequate.
A lesser 9 per cent indicated that they would take all the drugs necessary to guarantee that they are alive and still active in the game of life.
Whichever plan a person follows is a personal choice. Remember that a majority of these male enhancement drugs also warn potential customers to seek medical advice first to determine if they are suitable customers to use this type of product.
Remember also to include your significant other in the supposed life enhancing situation. Open and honest communication between yourself and your spouse or significant other might be more important than merely being ready when the moment is right.
