Many Cell Phone Private Conversations Usually Become Public Knowledge

The telephone and cell phone companies offer wonderful payment plans so that everyone in your "circle of influence" can enjoy the benefits of lower rates and more chat time.
A wonderful concept offered by nearly all the national and local cell phone providers. Nothing wrong with that.
The instructional manuals packaged with these units fail miserably however in advising their users on the correct way to carry on a conversation using their product. Many folks raise their voice's conversational level a few octaves and end up literally shouting into the phone's microphone.
These folks have inadvertently converted this sophisticated electronic device into a rudimentary bull horn or megaphone into which they detail their private lives and situations for those nearby to hear. They seem to be oblivious to the fact that people in their vicinity are catching bits and bites of their private and personal communications.
The compact size of the cell phone must indirectly encourage users to alter their normal speaking tone and raise it to almost shouting level. We all at times do this. We compensate our speaking volume in the hopes that the mini microphone in the cell phone will effectively allow us to have a "normal" conversation.
Many users seem totally unaware that they are broadcasting their private and at times very personal information for all to hear. These folks conduct their animated and intensely personal phone chatter with as much gusto and passion as if they were in an enclosed phone booth.
From a psychological perspective many cell users have adopted a familiar and comfortable relationship with their land based phone and thus transfer these laid back feelings when chatting on the smaller, more portable units.
They should be made aware of the way in which they interact on their cell phones. Then they can alter their speaking behavior. Does the whole world really have to know about Aunt Harriet's upcoming colonoscopy exam?
Conscientiously controlling and modifying your current cell phone speaking technique can only help to guarantee your safety, privacy and security. Practicing your cell phone technique in the privacy of your home will save you from public embarassment when using the phone in a public setting.
